Social are you? Typing away at your computer for hours each day? Do you spend your time wisely, or just surf the web with no particular care in the world? Does it even matter?
No, not really.
For most, the internet is a vast collection of crap, a cyber world full of information overload, depressing daily news, stalkers, predators, sexual deviates, social morons, perverts and fake profiles on just about every social website you can think of.
There are those who rarely even use the net, and would rather spend their time enjoying more active hobbies outdoors. I remember when I was one of them. (I still find plenty of time to enjoy other activities.)
Let's face it though, most of us are online just about every day of the week, and not always for the best of intentions. There are times where we all feel like smashing our computers to hell, whether it was because of a computer issue, (connection, software failure, hardware failure), a personal issue, (being sick, depressed, angry at the whole damn world), or we had a really bad day at work
We all need our computers today. Where would we all be without them right? Watching more stupid T.V. programs like Jerry Springer or Mob Wives, that's where. Nothing to learn from any "reality shows"...
So take up a new hobby, and start blogging. Doesn't really matter what you blog about, it can be anything that interests you, or something you're very knowledgeable about that you would like to share with the rest of the world. You may just be surprised at what you could share, and just how many others would love reading about it.
Blogger is a good place to start, and you don't have to be too technical in order to figure it out. Don't be afraid to experiment with your mouse or keyboard, just dive in and have fun with it.

There's a whole universe within the internet, and more people each day are making money online from home part-time with full-time jobs, as well as those who do it for a living. I myself am one of those who works from home, enjoying a leisurely lifestyle where I dictate my own working hours, if I chose to even work at all.
Who would want to work for others and slave away all day long for a measly paycheck that barely covers the bills? In today's economy, it's a rare instance to know someone who's making ends meet, especially if they have a family.
Those who I've talked to, being many friends and acquaintances, have nothing inspiring to tell as of lately. Most of them are barely able to stay afloat, and some are getting more depressed as time passes. Who can blame them? Our economic situation hasn't been this dismal since the great depression!
The aforementioned is the main reason I started researching ways to make an income online. I left my business back in NJ, (a Pizzeria in Bloomfield), to relocate in Washington State so I could be with my better half, and it's been the best move I've ever made thus far.
For a couple of years now, I've been researching the Internet, studying the best possible routes to earn an online income, and it's been a hell of a task. Just on Facebook, I've followed several "Internet Marketing Gurus" who are successful in their own rights, but seem to all have a system in place where they all have their students promoting them! Most of them pay a 20% commission to their affiliates when a sale is made, and the effort one goes through is never worth the payout.
I decided on taking a different route, realizing that if they could do it, then I could as well without having to send these greedy people a dime. (Some of them ask for hundreds, even thousands of dollars to "mentor" you.)
Internet Marketing has been labeled with a derogatory stamp, where many claim they would never get sucked into "a pyramid scheme." I would tend to be one of them, as I've come across all too many who scam others into sending them money, and give nothing of any kind of substance or value in return. One would be utterly amazed at just how many people have given some of these thieves as much money as they have. I shake my head every time I think about it.
I never would want to be one of those who prays on those who are desperate to make money, I could not live with myself in good consciousness. I like to sleep easy at night.
Having said that, here I am today embarking on a quest to share insight so that others can benefit should they so choose. I'm the type of guy, (although you'ld never think so by just looking at me), that takes pride in helping others achieve whatever they set out to achieve. I only wish there were many more who thought likewise, alas...that's just not the way it is sunshine.

I've been using the internet now since the year 1999. The first computer I ever bought was a top of the line Compaq Desktop, complete with all the trimmings which included a webcam (which had poor resolution back then) and a microphone. Back then, there were two major browsers used by the masses, Internet Explorer and Netscape. I was partial to Netscape, as it had better features and was not only user friendly, but faster as well.
I had free internet, a subcriber to Netzero. My connection was dial-up. Needless to say that even though Netscape was the fastest browser, it still took almost 2 minutes for each page to load. At the time, it was still faster than most connections, as I often asked others how long it took for screens to fill after clicking on a link.
Yahoo was the first website I ever engaged with, using it to check the daily news, stock forecasts, surfing for info, and chatting with others around the globe. (Back then, it was the first to come out with live chat, as well as video.)
In the years passing, I upgraded my computer as needed. I always bought the latest, looking to get the most RAM available, as well as the fastest processor and largest hard drive. I felt those were the most important hardware items for what I wanted to achieve in computing, which was speed and storage capacity. After all, I am rather impatient when it comes to wasting valuable time and energy. As I grow older, time becomes much more precious to me, so I try to make the most of my efforts whenever possible.
When 2009 finally rolled around, I finally got onto Facebook, and started engaging in the wonderful world of Social Media. To my surprise, many of my friends around the world were already members, with their pages filled with status updates, likes and various posts.
I thought it was great that Mark Zuckerburg has launched this site, enabling people from around the globe to connect with lost family and friends. It was the start of a new venture for me, not realizing just how much opportunity lied ahead if I was willing to explore the possibilities.
My first experiment online was with a game called Mafia Wars...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafia_Wars . It was one of the most popular games played by over 45 million back in Aug. 2010. I had created a "Mafia Wars Family" called "Forza Italia" which had become the largest group of almost 1000 other "Mafia Wars Families" within the game, having had recruited over 19,000 members. (At the time, no other clan, family or group had more than about 500 members.) It was a task that took 3 months of mass emailing to thousands each day.
The game was enjoyable for some time, although within just over a year, I decided to drop out as the group's "Godfather". It was just too time consuming and very stressful, as drama quickly spread through the ranks of seasoned players within the group, as well as other groups allied with Forza. One would be amazed at how certain others reacted and behaved with patrons of the game, and how Zynga irritated millions into quiting the game altogether. Today, there are just over 500k still playing. (I still play a few times per week, keeping up my stats up just for a stress reliever.)
Since having met my fiance Latia Del Riviero in 2009 through FB https://www.facebook.com/latiad, I've been Promoting her on many different websites, (you can google her and see my past efforts to date), as well as making money from home using my state of the art Dell Craptop, yes I said Craptop...I will never again buy a Dell.
I've been researching many different ways to increase income, leaning towards online marketing, affiliated marketing and blogging. To this date, I've spent more than enough on various "stuff" that the internet is flooded with. One thing is for sure, not everything has panned out to my benefit, although I have gained a vast extensive knowledge of what works, and what doesn't.
It's an ongoing process, as today everything changes rapidly. What you might know today, will not necessarily work tomorrow. One must always stay on top of the game to achieve any kind of success.
This blog is an accumulation of ways for anyone to make an earned income online, as they do for me. I'm happy to share it with the rest of you who take interest, and would love for you to share yours with me as well.
